hi folks.
i installed SP4 last week, on top of SP2. also installed
patch for blaster.exe. had none of the horror stories
occur which i see posted here, thank heaven - at least not
yet.
the only problem i've encountered so far is when i open
the Help file in an Office application such as Access or
Word:
in the right-side pane, directly under any topic's
Heading, there are usually one or more hyperlinks such as

Also See Example Event Properties Macros

none of those hyperlinks show up anymore. instead there is
a small square with a dot in the middle where each link
should be. i've tried clicking the square, but it's dead.

i saw nothing in knowledgebase to address this. can anyone
help?

TIA
tina :)

Yes, a lot of people are starting to report this problem. Could you
try typing the following command at a command prompt:

regsvr32 /u c:/winnt/system32/hhctrl.ocx

and then type this command:

regsvr32 c:/winnt/system32/hhctrl.ocx

Obviously, you'll need to modify these commands a little if you don't
have Windows installed on your C drive.

The first command unregisters the HTML Help ActiveX control, which is
used in the help files to provide the navigation features; the second
command re-registers the control. This should fix the broken registry
entries that are responsible for your problem.
