Hi....The past few days I have been receiving a
ridiculous amount of e-mails (20-30 an hour) from random
senders (none of which I know). All of them include an
attachment, and have different yet consistent subject
titles.... (i.e. "Re: Your application", "Thank
You!", "Re: That movie", "Re: Re: My details", "Re:
Approved", "Re: Wicked screensaver", and some others.
How do I determine what is causing this, and any
suggestions on how to stop it???? Please help fast
before I go loco!!!! Thanks.

Activate yr filters, create rules, consider a third party anti spam addin
app.
Entered yr address in any dodgy web sites lately?
Complain to yr voting representative about the ludicrous unsolicited mail
( licence to spam)
rules the senate comittee? is proposing.

I am not sure, but it might be the "Sobig.F" virus that is
making its cataclyptic rounds.

if the emails are not addressed to you personally, I would set
up a filter
"[x] where the message has an attachment"
"[x] where the To line 'does not' contain {your email}"

"[x] delete the message" (or mark as read and send into "virus" folder)
(or a more radical approach:
[x] do not download from server
[x] delete it from server)
