Help: Every new workbook starts as protected

Hi. I think that Excel (2002) on my system is always setting my workbooks to
protected, and I am not able to do common things like "insert column". I do
not know how this happened and need it set back to normal. Can anyone tell
me how to do this? Thanks!
 
Have a look in your XLSTART folder for a file named BOOK.xlt

If there, move it out or delete it.
