Here in the states as you might be aware, canon models come with their
CD printing feature disabled. Thanks to some people who took the time
to scan their trays this issue was resolved. However the newer models
like the ip4200/ip5200 and even mp500/800/900/950 from my understanding
request "tray type c" and "tray type d", where the older series of
pixmas requested "tray type b" and the older i series requested "tray
type a".

Your assistance is required... if you any of these models do take the
time to e-mail me with a scan or photo of your tray. It only takes a
little bit of time out of your day but what you get in return are a
bunch of odd ball yanks and canadians who know more about a product
sold in your area and can answer some trully odd ball questions the
likes of which would only be known by those who retrofit solutions.

Thank you kindly

The tray that came with my ip4200 has the letter 'C' embossed to the left of
the arrow which shows the direction to insert the tray. The arrow faces
inwards and the letter is to the left.
Hope this will help.

Thanks... but what is really really needed is a good can that one can
make a diagram from. From a flatbed scan one can take some pretty
accurate measurements. Seems some users are having issues using "tray
type b" on printers that request tray type c. If you can get a scan
and e-mail it that would be most spiffy.
