Help - Error 0x80244001

Hi

I have the error 0x80244001 when windows defender tried to download updates.
I read the article posted that the windows update site should work and reolve
this problem.

I went to the site - but it checks for updates then says that "files req to
use ms update are not longer on my computer"

It then downloads and reqgisters the files, but when i then try again it
says the same thing.

If someone could help that would be great.

Hello Chris,

Have you tried going to Windows Update and checking for available updates?

Also test this WGA diagnose test, connection to MS, that scripts working and
a new Validation tool
