Does anyone know if there is a way to edit a saved movie when the project,
itself, has been deleted? If so, please let me know. I'm in need of editing
a movie.

Thank you for any help you can give.

If you wish to add-remove or
re-arrange the source files...
the answer is no.

Perhaps I've misunderstood but why not just re-import the saved video
into whatever your editing package is. I use Adobe Premiere Elements
and have done exactly this once or twice.

Thanks, GA and John. The source pictures are indeed, gone, and yet all I was
looking for was to save each photo back into my files so I could edit it.
Makes sense about the source files, BUT... the pictures are still there, so
there should be a way to do what I want. I can in Power Point.

GA, thank you so much. I used Movie Maker to create the slide-show (sorry,
I misinformed about it being a movie), and I do not have another program I
use, except Power Pt. I will check into some editing packages. AGain, thank
you both.

Once the .mswmm project file is saved in
Movie Maker in the .wmv or .avi format...it
is in fact a movie file and the images are
no longer separate files like they were when
you added them to your project.

There is a "Take Picture" button just below
the view screen in Movie Maker that will allow
you to make screen captures while the movie
plays but the saved files will small.
