I've been ripping my own CD collection for ages using EAC and Lame at
VBR192 to create high quality MP3's. Ocassionally the CDDB would run
into problems and report the standard "Error - Server Error" message
when doing a lookup. usually if this persists I can change the
servers I'm connecting to and it clears up.

For some strange reason I began having ths problem on Saturday and
have tried repeatedly since then to connect to all of the available
servers to no avail. Everytime I try to connect I now get the "Error
- Server Error" message.

Does anyone have any insight as to what gives?

THanks!

As an aside, that is -marginal- MP3 quality, although perhaps your
personal preference.

For true audio quality, try lossless encoding.
