For some strange reason, no matter what I do or where I look, I cannot
find any means in disabling the auto-expand feature in IE 6.0. What I
mean is that if I open a new window or if a window utilizing IE 6.0
opens and is scripted with a pop-up window, it is automatically
expanded to cover my entire screen. Needless to say this is very
annoying. Can anyone help disable that feature? I've looked everywhere,
even Microsoft (NON-User Friendly) help site to no avail.

thanks....

What do you see if you press Ctrl-N while at the screen?
E.g. if it clones the window how big is it?

Is the large window maximized? IOW, can you (double-)click on the large
square to the left of the red X (upper right corner) to make it smaller?

If not, does hitting F11 make it smaller?
