help creating labels

i wrote a few months ago to find out how to make a single
word document of multiple pages of formatted labels. when
i try to press return or enter at the end of the page to
add a new page to the document it doesn't work. can
someone please tell me how to add multiple pages to a
labels document. i wrote this question in june and
somebody told me the answer to my question was "in long
docs" i don't know what "long docs" is... so i'd
appreciate just a simple explanation will do. thanks!
 
And "longdocs" equals microsoft.public.word.formatting.longdocs (which is
actually not an appropriate NG for a question about labels).
