We are going to soon have a multiuser environment. I want certain users to
only be able to view a couple of reports..none of the tables or queries.

I thought the best way would be to create a switchboard that only listed the
reports they should see.

However I have never created a switchboard and I tried using the Switchboard
manager. I am lost..Do I need to create a form first? All I need on the
switchboard is a link point them to a couple reports.

Not sure where to start. Also I will need this switchboard to open when
they log in and them not to see the database window.

Thanks

Letting them only see certain items on a switchboard WILL NOT prevent them
from using the ones to which they should not have access. You would need to
set up User-Level Security and then assign them the appropriate access to do
that.

To create a switchboard, just use the built-in switchboard manager.

Personally, I don't like the switchboard. I create my own "menus" using
forms with buttons on them. This allows you to have more flexibility.
