I have a homemade video in Quick Time for Windows. I want to (if possible)
convert that to a program that can be used on regular DVD players.
Anyone have any experience with that?

If you can get a tool to convert to wmv format, then you can use Vista's
Movie Maker / DVD Maker to do the rest.
