help- contents in 'My Documents' are gone

1, install XP SP1 from XP home
2, sub-directories and their contents in 'My Documents' are gone!!!

Open the C:\ drive and look in Documents and Settings.... find the folder
with your UserName.... there should be a My Documents folder inside there
which is their actual location.
