Help Changing Background?

I am very new to FP 2003. I used the Corporate Presence Website Wizard and it
works fine. I can publish to my site, etc.

I cannot find a way to change the background colors. I have gone through FP
Help and nothing seems to work.

Any thoughts from those less challenged?

Reposting the same question over and over within a short period of time
won't get you an answer any faster.

When and if someone has an answer, they will post it.

Which background colors do you want to change? If it is a page background,
just right-click anywhere on the page, select page properties, select the
formatting tab, and you can change the background color there. If it is a
table background, right-click on the table and select table properties. If
it is a cell, right-click on the cell and select cell properties.

When working with themes, you must apply and modify the theme, then save under a new name, then
remove the current theme and apply your modified theme.

Please accept my apologies Tom. When I posted the quiestions, a dialogue box
said that there was a problem in posting my question. Silly me... I took that
as fact.

I did not expect to get a quicker answer by posting more than once. I do
know that much. I do appreciate you being such a jerk about my mistake and
trying to point it out to everyone.

Thanks Thommas... That did the trick.

I realize the original post here is very old, 2004......it is now 2007. But
if anyone is listening, HOW do you "remove the current theme and appy your
modified theme??"
Kay

Yep lots of people are listening...the topic has been covered a zillion
times since 2004.

Open FP
File | Open Site
Format | Theme
the Theme toolbar will open on the right
Find the theme you're using and click on the drop down...select Customize
Customize it to your heart's content
Save it as a new theme.

Now you can select the newly named newly saved Theme and apply it as the
Default theme...but it won't change any pages that you may have applied the
theme to individually - you can do those by opening those pages and applying
the new theme.

Or before applying the new theme you can scroll down in the Theme toolbar
and select No Theme and apply that...then scroll back to your newly modified
Theme and apply as default theme.

Or better yet...don't use a Theme and learn about DWTs.

Thanks for the reply Thomas. I've been playing with my pages and figured out
how to do this, now I've got a new problem. I successfully changed the theme
to "no theme" then applied my new theme, the background is now black like I
wanted. But, now the link bar which has the text in black...cannot be seen!
I've been searching to find how to change the text color in the link bar with
no luck. Can you help me out?

SAME place...edit the Theme
