Help - CD Problem

CD plays sounds from DVD games but won't play music CD. Any ideas?

(e-mail address removed).
 
Is the audio cable from the drice to the motherboard loose maybe?
Sound/music in games is often a sample, and therefore dopesn't use the audio
cable.

Just a thought..........
