You are miles away from setting up a mail account, the error message tells
us that you are in fact "not totally computer learned", don't worry about
that, everyone has to start some where.

First off free Yahoo accounts will not work in Windows Mail.

Do you have another email account that was provided for you by the company
that you pay for internet access (ISP)?

Give us a little more to go on, to be able to help you, tell us your ISP for
a start.

It sounds like you are trying to use the "Send Page" or "Send Link" feature
in Internet Explorer - is that correct? If you only have a Yahoo (free)
account you will not be able to do this - you will need a Yahoo PLUS
account. IE is trying to access Windows Mail (a "default" mail handler
program installed as part of Vista). A Yahoo PLUS account can be setup in
Windows Mail. But a free Yahoo account can only be accessed at the Yahoo
website and that is not accessible as a "default mail handler". The only
way to do what you are trying to do is to right click your mouse as it is
hovering overtop of the URL (the long address at the top of the screen that
starts with "HTTP") and "copy" - then you can "paste" it into an email you
start at the Yahoo webmail.

Otherwise, you could download "Windows Live Mail" and get a free email
account that you can use this way.
