Help! Can't delete virus

While scanning through my computer a virus was found -- a trojan executable
file in a folder called C:/Program Files/Timesink. However, I can't delete
the file, rename it, or otherwise get rid of it. I was able to move the
entire folder and its contents it to my trash bin, but when I try to empty
the trash bin it won't delete that executable file.

An error message tells me that access to the file is forbidden.

Any clues how I can purge my system of this infection?

Get Ad-aware & or spybot search & destroy from majorgeeks.com

after installing it/them, run the update & then run the program(s) 1 at
a time, should take care of it, & all other spyware/ad-ware that's on
your pc that you are unaware of.

Glad it helped. Make sure you run the immunize option from Spyware S&D
that will help in preventing items in the future from attacking your
machine.
