We have a Windows 2000 AD Server, and win 98 and Win XP clients.

We have had problems with our network, it was a DNS issue. Got that problem
resolved, but in trying to resolve it, we caused another problem and do not
know how to resolve it. We are not sure what we did to cause the error.

When we go to My Network Places, Entire Network, and click on the Domain, we
get this message:

Domain is not accessible

The account is not authorized to log in from this station

We are afraid to restart the server, because we are not sure what this
message means!

Thank you for your help in advance!

Ron,

sounds like your machine might not be authenticating against the directory anymore.
Have you tried bringing up a new (client) machine, and joining that to the domain (or dorpping an old one out, then re-joining)? If this works, you know something you did has messed up the workstation credentials, and it's not your AD that's the problem.

It is the Domain Controller that cannot browse the Domain. When I am in
Network Places and drill down to the Domain, I get the error messages.
