help canon i9550

Hello
i am under win xp family. I work with a printer canon i9550
without one problem for the past 15 months.
To day my canon keeps printing well pictures via ACDC
and PSP7 and DOES NOT PRINT from notepad, wordpad,
word, excel
i have tried many things but i have found no solution.

See if there is a driver upgrade for your printer. many have experience
problems with MS Office documents formats and using HP printers. You may
need to do the same for your Canon printer, especially if you upgraded MS
Windows or a MS Office product.

What sort of cable are you using to connect the printer to the computer?
Do you have more than one printer installed? Look in Control Panel Printers and
Faxes, how many printers are there and what are they called, which one is the
default printer (the one with the little tick on the icon)?
