Hi all,

My workstation running Win2000 SP4 cannot print more than one copy of any
document. No matter the number I put on the "number of copies" field, only
one copy comes out of the printer.
I tried printing from Office 2003, Notepad, Wordpad and they behave the same
way, so I think the problem is not the application itself but Windows' own
print manager.
Also tried to print using administrator and limited user accounts, but the
problem persists so it's not related to permissions.

Please help! I can't find any information anywhere about this problem.

Thanks in advance

G.

Is there enough disk space on the drive/partition that holds
Windows\sytem32\spool or \windows\temp?

This link http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;186934
describes a similar problem with some Microsoft software, but includes this:
"or you are using printer driver that does not support multiple copies ".
If the printer driver is based on Microsoft UNIDRV, then you may be able to
verify this: look for a file named ".GPD", and look inside it for
"MaxCopies". If it is set to 1, then the printer driver does not support
multiple copies, but the user-interface is not enforce it.

This link http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-gb;835817
says "Next, try printing directly to the printer, rather than using the
Windows spooling feature. "

Here is the link I got from search MSDN:
