A.D.A.

I cannot get the pointer to move.
I follow Logitech support suggestions, using the tab to go navigate the
Start Menu. I can only get to Control Pane | System. The tab will then go
left/right, but not up/down, so I never get to the device manager dialogue.

Everything else seems to work fine, even icq gets loaded and online, but of
course I cannot do anything because of no mouse or keyboard.

This is strictly a function of the drivers provided by Logitech. If your
current drivers will not give you full functionality, then you need to check
or updated drivers from the Logitech website. If these functions did work
but recently stopped you might try using System Restore to take you back to
a time when they did work or try reinstalling the software.

I can't get to system restore because the keyboard is frozen. I can get to
system restore with the tab but can't get to the buttons because the mouse
doesn't move.

Were these ever functioning on XP?
If so and you have a wireless setup have you thought about resetting the
connections?
If not wireless and prev.OK tried reinstalling Logitech drivers?
Lastly borrow a std hardwired mouse & Kbd

Do the mouse and keyboard function in safe mode as you can access System
Restore there as well. Boot the system, start tapping F8 (if even this
doesn't work outside XP, you need to contact the manufacturer) when the menu
appears, select Safe Mode and press enter. At Safe Mode, you should be
presented with the option to immediately go to System Restore, if not, go to
Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.
