HELP! CANNOT DISPLAY PAGE ERROR

[RGV-IT]

A few users in my company and I get the "Cannot display
this page" page at random times. But at other times we can
browse all websites normally. But out of nowwhere, it
seems like we lose connection or something. Refreshing
doesnt help either. To fix it, we have to restart each
time. Clearing caches and history works temporarily but
then the problem still repeats itself. Please help out.

I've been having the same problem for a month or two and it's been
driving me crazy.

Other characteristics:
At random time (like you said):
- I receive "cannot display" error on all pages EXCEPT secure (https) pages
- I'm unable to connect to / display my linksys router admin page
- I'm still able to ping dhcp (router) as well as dns servers
- I've only been able to 'reset' by rebooting.
- I still receive email normally except that web based images don't
display.

- I've only tried clearing cache and history after a reboot, so I don't
know if
that had an impact.
- I was suspicious of a possible winsock problem so I ran netdiag.exe from
windows support tools, and it reported all ok.
