Keep getting the error message "the specified network name is no longer
available".
Environment:
1 Terminal Server Box Running Windows 2000 Server with another Windows
Server 2000 Box as a backup system.
When I attempt to copy files from one server to the other over the 10/100
LAN I get this error message, when I copy from one server to the other over a
1000 Mb peer-peer link with a Cat 6 Crossover Cable I get the same error the
only difference is that it appears faster ...
It always seems to happen when I am attempting to copy very large files,
these files are just under 2GB each (1.9GB), it seems to begin coping ok but
30%, 50% and sometimes 70% into it I get the above error message.
If anyone has any ideas why this is happening and what can be done to fix it
so I can attempt to mirror the 2 servers and backup data from one to the
other your help would be greatly apprecaited.
Thanks,
LJ
