Hello and thanx for reading this.

I am having a very strange problem accessing three websites - and ONLY three. Let me explain:

First, the three sites that I can't access are all XXX-rated sites - but they are safe and
legit. I have accessed all of the websites in the past, but not in the last year or so. Here are
their IP addresses:
204.15.208.49 (this is the one site that I actually wish to get to)
204.15.208.151
204.15.208.149

The error I receive from IE6 & 7 is 'Cannot find server or DNS Error'.

Heres what I have tried:
Reset my cable modem numerous times - left it off overnight (for new IP)
Removed my router completely from the loop
Tried from four different computers at my house, including a Linux box
Tried accessing with IE6, IE7 and Firefox 2
Ran tracert - returns timeouts - results are below
Tried to ping - gives timeouts
Turned off all firewalls, anti-virus, etc.

If I go to my neighbor's computer (same ISP - Comcast) and try to access any of the sites, they
all come up and display just fine.

It's not a DNS issue because a tracert to the IP address shows the name of the site (see below).
It's not my computer(s) (software, firewall, net-nannie, hosts file, etc,) because I've tried to
access with four different computers in my house (I'm a reseller).

It's not Comcast because I can access the site from other Comcast locations.

The only thing I can think of is a cable modem (Motorola SB5100) problem - possibly the site is
blocking my modem's MAC address for some strange reason???

If anyone can provide any intelligent troubleshooting guidance on this, I would greatly
appreciate it. This has been driving me crazy for weeks. Thanx again!

Instead of tracert, try pathping. I'd like to see hops 15 - 30. And a
comparable log from your neighbour's computer.
