Hello,
I have an urgent problem, the c: disk where is installed my W2K system is
nearly full and my system spends
its time swapping.
This C: drive is an old one, very small 1,7 Gb only.
My intention was to copy the system on a new 80 Gb HD using Drive Image 7
(PowerQuest).
But as soon as I replace my original 1,7 Mb HD by the new one on the IDE
controller (master),
the system refuses to boot on it, even if I copy the MBR with Drive Image.
I get an error saying : "Err.lecture disque" when w2K try to boot.
Somebody told me it is a problem of UDMA with the new drive, but I have no
problem reading the copied datas when this drive is installed as slave.
What could I do ?
Somebody told me to use Ghost, but I don't know it and the documentation has
nothing special corvering system HD copy.
Help welcome.
