Question, why is it when you have a box with a white fill
and no line, but when you print the presentaion on paper
it shows the line. Is there a way to get rid of this even
though I have already removed the line from the box? I
have also tried making the line white, and that still
prints a line on paper.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Have you tried using No Fill as well as the No Line? Also printing in Black & white.

I actually did use a fill (white) and no line, but the
line keeps printing up. When I print the presentation in
black and white it takes away all the fills and just
leaves the lines for the boxes.

Thanks

That doesn't work either. It';s very wierd that you can
make a box white with fill and no line but yet the line
still prints up.

Thanks for your help.

Try this...

Tell PowerPoint to print in color, but tell your printer (via its own
Properties dialog box) to print in black and white.

Used to work for me in PPT 98 and 2000.

I run into this, too. The only way around this that I'm aware of is to
remove the fill in the textbox. If you need the fill, place an autoshape
with the same fill underneath the textbox, and set the B/W settings to
print that as "white." I know it's kludgy, but it works.
