I have entered the world of the big blue screen! Just as
I'm about to get to my desktop, the blue screen arrives.
The stop screen says, "inaccessible boot drive." I can't
get to my desktop... no way, no how! Safe Mode creates
the same problem. What do I do??

If you have installed any new hardware, remove the hardware.

Try booting to the "Last known good" config. This will load the drivers and
services that were installed the last time you successfully logged in. When
Windows is booting, hit F8 before the splash screen appears. You should get
a boot menu with "Last known good"

Have you tried login in with a different user account?

Post more details about the last few changes that occurred to your computer,
both hardware and software.

go to the website for the manufactor of your hard disk download a bootible
diagnoistic tool maxtor do this, and then test the drive, usually you boot
from floppy to achive this.

if the drive's ****ed or not put the drive into another machine and extract
all your data, if the drive's ok you might be able to format it and
reinstall windows and then copy over all your data.
