HELP!!! blue monitor

this morning when I booted up I have a real bad bluish cast to my monitor -
anyone know what this might mean???? monitor going out? video card? any
tests I can do to find out before I go out and buy a new monitor????

Gentle rock the connectors at both the PC and monitor ends, to be sure
that they are firmly seated in their sockets.

If no change, try the monitor on another PC, or try another monitor on
your PC. The video card is an unlikely cause.

Well do I feel stupid!!!! I checked both ends...and yep...the end to the
tower was loose...thank you :-)
