Help - Being blocked from certain web sites

I cannot navigate to any of the Virus Protuction companies using IE6 on my
home computer. Whenever I try to go to either Symantec or Mcafee I just get a
"Page Not Found" message. I just purchased a new copy of Norton, but don't
think I should install it till I find out how to clear out whatever it is
that is blocking me. My definitions are way out of date. Help.

Doesn't Norton AV come with a disk from which you can run it without
installing?
