I have 3 dell Latitude 110L laptops that ended up getting virus and
spyware loaded. We felt like we had all the drivers necessary - and we
were redistributing them to new owners, so we wiped them out started
over from scratch. Loaded windows, drivers for network, audio, video,
wireless, chipset, etc. Machine ran great. created Ghost Image for
distribution to the other 2 laptops and for future reloading.

Feeling like we were ready to go, we added the machine to the domain
and rebooted. No problems.... Next - we renamed the machine to match
our naming scheme. Upon rebooting this time, we receive the
Bad_Pool_Header message - every time - on all 3 laptops. A little
trial and error has led me to the conclusion that it has something to
do with the naming. We've tried different names ... same result.

I need any help that can be offered....
Thanks in Advance....
Ray

BAD_POOL_HEADER

A pool header issue is a problem with Windows memory allocation. Device driver
issues are probably the msot common, but this can have diverse causes including bad
sectors or other disk write issues, and problems with some routers. (By theory, RAM
problems would be suspect for memory pool issues

Peter are you still mad about all your bad advice you have given people to
which I have and proven you wrong time and time again? No fake MVP here,
Updates are very important for windows which several address this memory
problem, you dumb Peasant Fool! SP3 should be installed if the Op hasn't done
it already! Your Blind, and now your dumb too, not a ver good combo! Poor
Peter, the Dumb & Blind trying to lead the blind! You should be ashamed of
yourself. You and Malke have a lot in common. Your the very reasons for this
NG going down the drain.

Now that was brilliant. Guiding the OP down the wrong path. Do all of us a big favor
and go away and get a life.

And yes, you are not an MVP. Point to your page and prove it. You been asked many
times by many and still you are not able to do this
