Hi all,

Back in the bad old days before .NET, I used to use a help authoring product
called Visual Help from a company called WinWare Inc. An excellent product,
whose IDE looked and felt very similar to VB6.

However, WinWare Inc is no more and, although I still have their help
authoring tool, my company is uncomfortable about my using an unsupported
product and has asked me to resource another. I find the HTML Help Workshop
very cumbersome, and am wondering if anyone can recommend anything better.
Something which integrates with VS.NET would be great.

Any assistance gratefully received.

Best,

Mark Rae

Mark,

Yes Ndoc create helps file. If you want a commercial tool then
you could look at DocumentX from http://www.innovasys.com/ I
have tested it myself and I liked it.

Looks good, but their other product HelpStudio looks even better :-)

Thanks for the recommendation.
