I am loving Windows Vista but am having two huge isses. My HP Pavilion dv4000
worked fine at first. However, now the speakers sometime work and sometime
they don't. If I reboot, they will work but if I start doing a lot of work,
then they will just quit unless I go to Device Manager. All I have to do is
click troubleshoot and they will start working again. Of course, that is kind
of an issue as I will get tired of doing that.

THE BIG ISSUE though is that my CD/DVD RW worked great for the first 4 hours
of vista. Matter-of-fact, I used it to install all of my software on the
Vista machine. However, now Vista can get the driver to work and I am stuck
without a CD/DVD Player/Writer or anything. I can't even load up any more
software. My device is Matshita UJ-840D. I can't even find a driver for it.
Can anybody help me with this? I can't even reinstalll XP because it doesn't
recognize my DVD player.

got an acer aspire 2026 and i have exatly the same problem except my drive is
a matsita dvd-ram uj-845s
,it seems there is a probem with this drives
also window vista does not recognise my integrated bluethoth hardware.hope
there is a anser up there.

I am having the same problem with my sony drive. As well with an external
plextor dvd burner.

I have that problem also. Last Friday firstly everything well have been
possible install and afterwards in once no dvd-rom and dvd burner (Philips
DROM6216 - Matshita DVD-Ram SW-9586) but my printer also could not be
installed. According to supplier must software recognises become in Windows
Vista. At searching to drivers in the system I saw on that there were but a
lot few drivers available. Hopelijk in the following realease more drivers I
have placed ordinary Windows XP.

Greetings,
Marc (The Netherlands)
