I installed XP Pro and then downloaded all the critical security updates. Since I did, I cannot access the "Help and Support" option from the start menu or any other link where it's listed. I researched Microsoft security patches and there was a vulnerability to a script method that is called by Explorer called "window.showHelp". It has you install the latest service pack. Once this is installed, it also disables this script, which lead to another security patch 811630 that was included as part of another security patch. I installed both of these and I still can't can't get the Help and Support option to work. Does anyone know of something else that will work for this short of reinstalling XP. I have heard that Microsoft won't let you reinstall once you have activated XP because they think you are pirating the software, so reinstalling doesn't appear to be an option for me. Any help would be extremely appreciated. I check the boards frequently and will reply to any additional information that you might need to assist me. Thanks, Leem
