Help and Support Missing

I just noticed that my help and support icon in the start menu doesn't work
anymore, I ran sfc /scannow w/o any success. The last blunder I remember
doing with my pc is the system restore which I used to 3 days back's status,
I even did an 'undo my last restore' but that didn't help. Someone please
help me bring my 'help and support' back. Forgot to mention, I checked task
manager, a process named 'helpctr.exe' appears when I click on help and
support but vanishes after 2-3 seconds. I have seen the event viewer also
but don't know much about it. Please help...

Well, I am extremely thankful and grateful. I forgot, I had installed Easy
Cleaner (later uninstalled) on my system and that had done the damage by
modifying the registry. It works now. Extremely grateful.
