Help! All peripherals accesed while online quit working!

I can't print from a webpage or access the printer. Also can't send
pages to my e-mail and many links that I try don't allow me to access
them. Also, Hotmail is unaccessable. Any ideas? I am running 2000 Pro.
 
Can't? Can't in what way? Do you get error messages? What do they say?
Is there some other unexpected response? If so, what is it, and what is
your action that results in this unexpected response?

I mean CAN'T! No error messages at all. Contol panel inoperative,
blinks onscreen once then disappears. Reinstalled IE6 w/SP1 from the
MS site, still no help. Where on the Win200Pro CD is IE located?
AARGH! Also can't print or save pages from the web. Can't reset my
clock. Can't highlite text and print it. Can't use the "find" option
on text heavy pages.CAN'T!!!! I've run all "fixit" programs within
windows, even installed recovery tools from the CD. homepage got
hijacked and can't reset. Reverts to D:/WINNT/secure.htm Help!
