HELP! all formulated cells won't update

Any time I change one of the values that is included in a sum total, th
sum doesn't change to reflect this. I am also having problems wit
cells that I formulated to update based on another cell.
Example.....say cell A1= November 1, 2003 and cell A2= A1-365. Cel
A2 isn't updating. The problem isn't with just one worksheet
everything I open in excel and Hyperion won't update when anything i
changed. What am I doing wrong?

Check Tools - Options - Calculation. Should be set to "Automatic."

If that doesn't get it, let us know which release of Excel you're using.
