HELP! AIW 9700 TV Problem

I have just installed the AIW 9700.
Damned if I can get the TV tuner to work.
Always says "unable to start tv"
I've downloaded latest drivers.
I'm ready to take this thing back.
Any suggestions?

I'm running an Intel P4 2.0GHz with 400Mhz bus 512MB RAM
Mother board is Intel D845EBG2
OS is XP Pro Ver 5.1 SP1

Hi,

1) install the last drivers
2) install the MMC 8.9 (brand new)
3) ther's a known issu with the directx 9.0b.
There's a patch to install.

I'm not sure that's the solution to your problem but may you try this patch.

if your card is the U.S. version i have the same and had the same
problem.get into your device manager and under sound,video and game
controllers you'll find ATI WDM TV TUNER.you must right click this and
uninstall it.then close out device manager and click add new hardware
wizard.this will find the tv tuner and reinstall the drivers and should fix
your problem.it did for my 9700 all in wonder pro.haven't had any problems
lately though since i went to 8.8 and 8.9.BOB
