I have installed Age of empiers II and when i start the game i have each time a fault
I allready sent a report to microsoft but it does'nt do somesing

Have you tried to uninstall the software, turn off system and then turn on
and reinstall?
You may want to also see if the are any updates for the game as well.

Granted the game should work in XP... can't figure out why it can't work...

Prior to installing the game... did you make sure that unneeded background
softwares are disabled or turned off.... such as: anti-viral programs,
firewalls, system helping programs, office programs, download managers or
file sharing software and even updated your operating system?

Reason why I asked is that at times, certain softwares that are still active
in the background can also interfere installation and game play as well.

Now if it still does not work... the most extreme is to use restore point
and restore your system to the day that it was running at peak performance
without any problems... the other extreme is to do a complete reinstall. :(.

However I do hope that other users who had similar problems might be able to
help out and find other solutions...
