I rebooted my server after adding a hard drive, which as far as I know
should have no affect on AD or DNS, and now I get a DNS error that says "The
DNS server was unable to open active directory." When I open the DNS admin
tool, it says it can not connect to the DNS server. I've stopped and
started the DNS service a couple times, and that has no effect. DNS is
basically not working, and this is wreaking havoc on my network.
I'm up to date on my service packs and updates.
I can't find much of anything on the MS support site about this. Any help
would be appreciated.
