When I first used FrontPage I had accidentally uploaded a local folder from
my desktop into the software. When I realized it was there I deleted it
wihtout much though.

Today I've gone into that folder and all the files are missing from it!

I did a search looking for the files and it shows that they were moved to
the FrontPage software but I can't find them... since I deleted the icon and
all. Does anyone know any way I can retrieve this folder?

Thanks,
Kachina

If you deleted it using FrontPage, it's gone forever.

Then why can I find them in 'Recent'? I can't get them out but I find files
and other folders from the main one there.

Another thing.... I can click on them and I'm given 'Missing Shortcut'
Message that then will later tell me, after looking, that the file has been
changed or moved not that its been deleted.

Because it was last open by FP, so the reference is stored in the Windows Registry.

Since the file has been deleted, it is no longer in the location reference by the shortcut (recent
listing)
