hi:

i just got corsair twinx512-2700LL hoping to see performance boost with dual
channel; however i am getting lots of system shutdowns and lockups instead.

my cpu is running at stock speed, nothing overclocked.

do i get bad modules? please help

Welcome to the club, the a7n8x is very picky about memory. Try setting
memory settings by spd. If that doesn't work then get another pair of
memory.

Mine only accepted Kingston HyperX PC3700 modules. Very expensive but they
show no errors.

Lock the RAM in sync with the FSB. Change to 100%. "Auto" is flaky.

Hello, got amd xp2500@3200 (fsb 190) a7n8x deluxe v.2, bios 1007, one s-ata
drive, one ide-drive, 2x-twinmos 512 3200 cl 2,5 (standard cheapest type)
in slot 2 and 3 and never experienced problems, stable as a rock, but only
5385 in 3dmark 2003, little disappointing. Ram in sync., 100%.
