It usually depends on how good the memory is. Samsung memory can often be
overclocked to pro speeds and beyond. I know, I have one.
Get the Omega Catalyst drivers and install them. These drivers come with an
overclocking utility and a tester, so that you can overclock gradually and
test each step of the way. If you find that you can overclock to pro speeds
and the card is stable, then flash the bios to a pro bios and then you will
have a 9800 pro for the cost of a non pro.
