Does your SCSI card use its own drivers? Did you install your SCSI drivers
at the begining of the XP install by pressing F6?

J.

No mate.
But i have used the same SCSI card in a MSI motherboard and it works with
windows XP drivers.
Can it possibly be that?
Cheers mate

Sorry guys but this is incredible.....
The only way i have an OS XP its at is first boot when it finishes
installing.
After that i rebooted again and end up having this.:

Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected boot
device and press a key

This is getting rediculous.......

I am using a SCSI Card from adaptec dual Channel Wide Ultra 3 and in
installing windows i di not press F6 to install its own drivers cause i hade
this SCSI card working in a MSI motherboard.

Just seen something interesting.

It does not boot cause it can't find the SCSI card but it boot if i put the
windows XP cd into the cd and i do not press any key to boot ftom cd.

Whats going on in here????

Please someone help????

Thanks
Carlos Arruda

I have a P4C800 mother board so this may not help but.
To set the hard drive to boot from go into the BOOT menu
Then the Hard drive menu and make the hard drive
you want to boot the first item. Then do the same thing in
the CDROM drives and Removable drives.
Then under BOOT Priorities you have three choices.
You can choose between the hard drive, cdrom and removable
drive you set as the first device in each submenu.
