Hello Group, I'm looking for a card with more than 6 USB-2 connectors.
Prefer 8 or more connectors...!

No room for muliple cards?
 
Wrong, there are no such cards. What you NEED is to buy a powered USB Hub.
It plugs into one of your current USB ports, and the wall, and adds many
more ports, depending on which exact model you buy.

He forgot to mention the downside, that ALL the devices
plugged into that hub must share the bandwidth of one USB
port.

Sometimes that is not so bad but if one really needs over
half a dozen USB ports, it seems fair odds that at least of
a couple of the devices are needing reasonable performance.

IMO, better to add at least one PCI USB card with as many
ports as possible and use those ports first, then if more
ports are still needed, then use a hub to connect the
devices without high bandwidth requirements.

Hello Kony, I've already done what you suggested - I have a 4 port usb2
card in the computer. The Usb-2 hub would be for my auxillary HDDs, and only
1 would be in use at a time..!

Good points though..! And just for the record, I wish I did have more PCI
slots, but alas..! Not to be..!
