Hi,

KAV 5 detects for several days an attack from the Internet :
"Helkern" from IP 218.25.253.18 (it changes) and attacks only on week
days.

Excepted using KAV that intercepts it quickly, is there another way to
definetly blocks this criminal ?

NB. I cannot answer to your mail for maybe the 3 next days, delay for
Google to display posts... (my current provider to which I am connected
locally being inop)

Thanks

Thierry

If you are connected t the Internet via Broadband then use a Cable/DSl Router such as the
Linksys BEFSR41. Then it will see the activity, not the PC.

Remember: if you are not running MS SQL server on your PC, this virus
cannot do any harm to your computer.

Many thanks for the link.
But I wonder why it is always Helkern that attacks my PC (and others)
and never another one...
It is like Helkerns was just hidden at the rear side of my modem, Hi!
;-))
