Heidelberg scanner

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if a Heidelberg 1400 scanner has a "term-power output capability". There is no reference to this in the original handbook. I am trying to interface this scanner via a Ratoc Firewire/SCSI adapter with an older iMac (17 inch flat screen half dome)which does not have SCSI input.

I think you'll have to contact the company directly for a specific inquiry like that - I've not heard of this scanner before, and google doesn't give many results on it.

I think the heidelberg might have been known in the UK under another model name, like Jade or Sapphire.
Does that help?

I've still not heard of it unfortunately :(

Apparently it's the same as the Umax Powerlook III and Saphir Ultra 2 - however I can't see if they have term-power output capability. Good luck in your search :)
