That is a built in porn detector... the more pornography on your computer
the faster it blinks. It sounds like it's blinking really fast.

Umm, surf the Web. Send/Receive Emails, Play online games.

This simply sounds like the TX/RX indictor telling you that the modem
is sending/receiving Data Packets. It when it stops blinking for a long
period of time you are online that you should worry.
