Ok. 1st my problem was getting a "Problem copying to CD" message. Solved it
by checking the "allow recordings here" box in the Cd-drive thingy.

NOW, I'm *able* to put my project on a cd, but when I check it on another
pc, I'm not seeing my full work.

I made a series of drawings using Paint & slapped in some song clips. The
whole thing came to 398 KB.

I tested it out on a different pc just now & I'm only seeing the beginning &
end credits.

This little project of mine was intended as a gift. :(

What has gone wrong here??!

I just read a post below about saving it in "movie format" 1st before putting
it to CD. Guess I'll try that after work....

That may be the problem...your .mswmm file
is only a project file for use in Movie Maker...
and it does not include the source files.

I cut'n'pasted a reply you gave to someone else below:
To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /

Got stuck right here. Does this mean I'm typing "Ctrl+P" in the Run program
or am I *hitting* those keys? Where exactly am I typing Ctrl+P?

*******************************************
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next / Next.
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

:

Ok. I figured out where to type "Ctrl+P" & followed your directions.

Afterwards, it made a "Windows Media Audio/Video file" in my folder. (size
6,874 KB)

THEN, I highlighted that & clicked the Copy to CD option & *this* time I got
a message that said "the (blank) disc I was using may no longer be usable"
something or other. I tried it w/ 2 different blank cd-rs & got the same
thing.

This should'nt be this difficult...

I'm not sure why you would use
the WinXP Copy O CD option
for video. Were you just trying to
make a backup disk?

The whole thing is intended as a gift. None of the images are moving images.
Just stills I drew w/ a couple of short song clips. The only 'motion' is a
couple of image effects in a few of the frames. I figured a cd-r would work
just fine.

But since writing last, I went into Win Movie Maker again, found my project
& clicked on the icon to take me to the WMM screen. From *there*, I clicked
on the Copy to CD option. (as opposed to clicking on the same option from the
'My Videos' screen) & it *Seemed* to work this time.

But the true test will be if this CD will work on another pc....

Any saved project from Movie Maker is
Video regardless of what the source files
were.

Good luck with your project.
