Ok...so I worked on this movie for my wife for our wedding. It clocks in
around an hour. Lots of transitions, music, etc.

I am having some SERIOUS issues saving it. I've tried saving it to my
computer, directly to my DV Camera....and it's NOT WORKING!!!

any ideas? anyone?

I'm guessing you already saved your project
as a .mswmm file and are now attempting to
save as .wmv? .avi?

There is no one size fits all answer for this
issue...maybe something in the following
info will be useful.

If you are not receiving errors...WAIT...maybe
the program will eventually complete the save.

Before opening Movie Maker...disconnect
from the net and close all programs...especially
virus scanners.

While Movie Maker is saving...cease all activity
on your computer...don't even play solitaire.

Do some maintenance:

Running Disk Cleanup, Error Checking and
Defrag on a regular schedule is a good idea.

no errors)

Hey John,

Thanks for the info....however, nothing worked. I did find a couple of
errors that fixed themselves, but i'm still having the same problem.

I was able to do it once...but it cut off the first few seconds, so I went
in to add a black box....and ever since....no luck....

anything else?

Thanks
Bri
