Noddy question! Is it possible to amend the header and footer which are
shown when I print a simple select query - I do not want to set up a report,
just to be able to give the query a more meaningful description.

Thanks

Ummm, you could always give the query a meaningful name as thats wot appears
at the top of the printed query.... HTH

Footer? Don't know about that but the column names can be set like this
example in the "field" row of the query grid:

This is the title I want to print: [My Field Name]

where "My Field Name" is the name of your field. Is that what you wanted?

Sorry, other than the name of the query and the date, you have no
control over what shows on the page header or footer if you print the
query.
Best to create a report. It would have taken less time than posting
here and waiting for a reply.

Thanks for the help everyone
