Headers in Outlook 2003

Does anyone know where the SMTP headers are hidden in Outlook 2K3? In
Outlook 2K, you could access/view the original headers from the SMTP
transcript by going to:
View->Options
but apparently that menu item no longer exists in Outlook 2K3.

I have a user who is experiencing e-mail problems, but I can't help him
unless I have more information about his problem.

Dave.

I tried to walk the user through finding the information by going to the
"View" menu and selecting the "Options..." item, and he reported that there
was no "Options..." item on the view menu, and that he was looking at the
expanded menu, not just the personalized view. The user in question is
usually a pretty savvy user, so I have little reason to doubt him.

The other strange thing is that I tried to get him to copy the message from
the inbox, and paste it into an e-mail to me as an attachment, but all I got
was the text of his message - so I couldn't open it with my own Outlook 2K
to view the headers that way.

So, I guess the next question is: Is there a mode option in Outlook 2K3 to
turn on or off that enables/disables menu items most users won't understand?

Dave.

Is the user fully opening the message in its own window by double
clicking on it or are they using the Reading Pane?

I hope it's ok to resurrect this very old thread. The problem is exactly the one I'm having, and this one was never answered. In short, after opening an email (not the view pane) in Outlook 2003, there is no "Options" option under "View | Options". Therefore, there is no way to see the message headers. Is there a fix?
